Stage 5 Day 3

St Quentin to Roubaix (Veladrome)

The day started at 6am from outside the great white Basilica and ploughed through the vast open agricultural fields of France.  Lawrence and 'Bonzo' are on the Pizza Express Tandom all making their way through to the famous cobbles of the Paris-Roubaix an iconic race done in the spring which definately sorts the men from the boys.....  They were talked through by Roger Hammond, ex Olympic rider and British Champion.  To win is definately one of the greatest cycling achievements.  At the end it was two laps of the iconic Roubaix Velodrome and the obligatroy cold shower.
